Overcoming Insecurity to Share Your Faith and Journey on Social Media
Have you always felt confident in sharing on social media and in sharing your faith? For me, the answer is a resounding no.
When my kids were little, our family faced numerous out-of-the-box health challenges with symptoms that were difficult to diagnose. In search of health and healing, I dove into natural remedies and began to heal our family from the inside out. We learned all about bone broth, individual supplement protocols, sleep health, and reading labels. This journey, while transformative, was often isolating. However, it taught me how to speak about our experiences and introduced me to the power of social media as a tool to help others.
Despite the benefits of clean living for our family, I wasn't ready to fully embrace sharing these natural healing methods with a wider audience. I still felt sheepish and unsure about putting my thoughts out there.
Fast forward a few years, and we made a significant lifestyle change by moving out of the city to a smaller town. This move brought us closer to my parents, allowing us to spend precious time with them during the pandemic and before my father passed away in 2023. In a small town, the employment landscape is different. Many work for the city, the school district, a small business, or for themselves. It was here that we started our faith-based company, Bradley Kellie, from the ground up.
All the skills I had honed in the past were put to the test. My knowledge of social media, graphics, narratives, and storytelling all came into play. To my surprise, speaking about my faith became more natural and comfortable with practice.
Turning 50 brought a new wave of confidence, but the key lesson was that starting is the best way to go. Once, I wondered how Christians could connect and share their faith globally. The internet has provided a tremendous opportunity to do just that. Sharing through graphics, videos, and chats has opened up vast possibilities for anyone wanting to share their faith with the world.
This realization was the genesis of our Christian Storytelling Jewelry, which has now expanded into gifts and apparel. It’s about the whole picture—the way we talk to people, forgive, show grace, and interact daily. It’s about reaching others through a baseball cap, a shirt, or a piece of jewelry that sparks a conversation about eternity.
This purpose fuels me, motivating me to continually refine my skills and find new ways to connect with others.
We would love your support in spreading the word about Bradley Kellie. We also invite you to become a brand ambassador. What does this entail? You can simply share our link with others or grow in more creative ways. We would love to discuss all the opportunities available to share your faith with Bradley Kellie.
Life is short, and we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. If eternity started tomorrow, would you wish you had spoken to more people about your faith? I know I would. There are so many out there hungry to hear the Good News. Go and feed them. Leave the 99 for the one.
Join us on this journey, and together, let's make a difference.
